I get to go home this week!!! Home ... that sounds weird. Home is in Seattle ... but home is in Okemos, and Alma, and Traverse City. Either way, I get to go to all three and then some when I come back to Michigan this week. It all seems so surreal! I can almost guarantee there will be tears of happiness. I miss my family and friends from Michigan so much...

I fly out on Wednesday morning - my flight leaves at 9am. Josh is going to take me to the airport before he goes to work, which means I have to get there pretty early. Ah well ... at least I won't miss my flight. I fly from Seattle to Detroit, and from Detroit to Lansing ... it almost seems silly to have a 45-minute flight from Detroit to Lansing, but it's still faster than driving. That and I'll be leaving from Lansing early on Monday morning, so that's much more convenient for me and my parents.

On Wednesday night, a couple hours after I get in, the family that is in town is coming over to my parents' house for dinner. I am particularly happy about this, not only for the fact that I'll get dinner when I come home, but mostly because that way I will be sure to see everyone while I'm home. I guarantee nothing about crying, again. I really can't explain how much I miss them.

Thursday will be great - I'm going to see a few friends that are in town, and I also get acupuncture. That's going to be my relaxing day in Okemos. Friday I have 2 appointments with 2 different DJs for the wedding stuff ... does anyone have any brilliant question ideas I should be asking these DJs when I interview them? Situational stuff, music stuff, I don't care - suggestions welcome! Friday night my Roomers is coming up to Okemos for a Roomers Sleepover! I can't wait! I miss my Roomers...

Saturday morning is going to be an early one ... we're leaving my house at 6 am to get up to Alma by 7 am to pick up Stephanie, then meet up with Mr. Andrew Sawin along 127. We are like a little Wizard of Oz gang ... though I'm not sure who's who. :) We're off to see the Row-Rows ...! Hmm, it doesn't quite have the same ring to it. I am beyond unbelievably excited for Saturday - I get to not only see 2 of my great friends getting married to each other, but I get to see so many friends from Alma. :) It's going to be an amazing day!

Saturday night after the festivities, our Wizard pack is going to travel down to Traverse City to stay with Josh's parents for the night. On Sunday morning we will make the trip back down to southern Michigan, and I will prepare to come back to Seattle.

This trip is going to be amazing.
