2007 rewind
Hello everyone, though I don't know if any of you are even still listed as my friends, for I haven't spoken to many of you in a long time. I truly regret sort of completely falling off the face of the earth lately. But as we all go through times of immense change, so have I. This last year of 2007 for me has been really crazy and filled with LOTS of change, but in many good ways!
My career is in a good track, I've shifted my focus to User Interface and Web Designer, which I find to be pretty fascinating and something that more and more people are looking for nowadays. I've been taking classes and learning a lot this year, and been doing a lot of freelancing as well as working full time.
I've bought a house in Alameda. It's a tiny little starter place but I love it. And I couldn't afford it if I didn't work my ass off with the freelance and everything, but I'm hanging in there. Unfortunately I have to be really frugal at the moment, all my money is going into the house and what I'm about to announce as the third major changing point in my life for 2007.
Lastly, I got engaged in September, so I'm getting married this year on May 24th! I've been going a little out of my mind lately with the planning. Thank God my mom is so helpful. ;) I couldn't do this without her!
Oh, and we have bunnies now. Big, fat, adorable fuzzy lops. They eat a lot, and poop a lot, and sit there and kind of just sit there... but we love them!
So there you have it, 2007 for Ashley. We'll see what 2008 brings for me. I'm sure it'll be eye opening!
