I love the shellshocked yet resilient voice you give Blaine in this fic. He doesn't know any other life so he accepts this as "his" normal, but manages to hang onto the belief that he'll find his way to happiness someday. I love him in this fic, but he breaks my heart. What's really great is that I can see how this could be the inner life of canon Blaine, the outer shell of Blaine from the show is still there, with this terribly sad inner core. I'm totally hooked and can't wait to see if Kurt will figure this out eventually.

For me, Blaine has to have a litte fight in him, he can't just be the battered drone because canon!Blaine DOES have fight and we've SEEN it. Thank you, I've decided that heartbreaking Blaine is perhaps my favourite. I'm glad you're enjoying this, more will be here very soon, I'm about to sit him down for dinner. <3

The way Blaine keeps making excuses for why he can't tell anyone just breaks my heart because it's just so very real. The whole scene in the cosmetic shop was lovely, and I adored his interactions with Kurt. Great chapter! ♥
