I found this post about a woman with dental issues, Violet Sacks, a blogger. So Lambert was trying to get some money donated for her to get it pulled. There's a bunch of tooth related stuff there including the mandatory cautionary tale of someone someone else knew dying from an abscessed tooth, so young, which I have heard of happening before.

I think I've read some of her stuff before, the site looks familiar, but she's not half as good as you. Why couldn't money be raised to get one your -- I think you said four of your teeth are abscessed? You mentioned it in one of your recent daily kos diaries on health care.

I don't have much but I'd be willing to pay for one of them to get yanked. What is that like $100? I mean you could die. It's ridiculous. Die from a bad tooth. Go to the goddam dentist and go into medical debt if you have to. You could die.

Your series on the Terry Pratchett book "Guards Guards!" it might have been, maybe not, the one where the lead guy goes back in time somehow, anyway although you wrote it years ago I think it is the best series of posts I've ever seen at daily kos.

There must be other people out there that like your work. Some of them probably have some money. Such people exist. And Like I say, I'll throw in $100 if you can get enough to fix them all. Or is it beyond being able to fix with 4 pulled teeth? (I've had more than that pulled myself)

I bet you could report that series at daily kos and people would just look at some of your other diaries and see you needed the help and you wouldn't even have to ask for any help if that's an issue for you I mean. I don't know if it is. Your writing is worth something.

I apologise if this comment is considered wholly inappropriate. I guess you can deleted it if it offends. or perhaps since you posted that diary you have already got your teeth fixed?
