Anybody got an email addy for Mighty Godking (Chris Bird) handy? Or know how to contact him?
Since his site got TORN'd before I could post a link to his horrible, horrifying, hilarious cover remixes, you may not have seen them, but he did a series of SFF book covers with new titles, titles which accurately describe the contents, all carefully photoshopped in to match the original style. (It's really impressive b/c it doesn't look like they've been hacked much at all - very skillful photoshopping jobs.) Unfortunately it got linked all over and now he needs to find a new host, and I just noticed that a longstanding ISP with a good fannish rep has a really good limited special offer expiring today & would like to pass the info on to him.
The sooner he gets back up and running the sooner we can all simultaneously cringe and laugh ourselves sick at whatever he comes up with to top Asshole Leper Hero and My Little Pony Goes To War...
