A brief PSA
Even if you are overworked and tired and despondent, don't leave the dishes so long that when you finally get to them, you have to ask yourself the question, "Are those grains of rice, or maggots, at the bottom of the sink?"
Also, cats have Jedi mind powers. This is how come we put up with the havoc they create, including knocking keys off the keyboard and getting stray hairs inside the flat-panel monitor screen...and why we feel guilty for oversleeping and not feeding them at the crack of dawn, or not being able to stop the thunder-and-lightning, and so forth.
Sorry for the recent dearth of posts - RL stuff is going down that I can't really even post about b/c I don't officially know any of it, but let us just say that it is not doing anything to convince me of the fact that rich men who buy companies are ipse facto more qualified than the rest of us to do, well, anything...
