WitchCup #02 cover art

In which the secret of the Grail Angel is revealed!

This one is done in the more traditional "scratchy" style - inspiration is this cover, from the collection here that Deiseach tracked down, which contains some truly astonishing anatomical impossibles, to the point where I really do think that some of these artists not only have never seen a naked woman for real, but have never looked at an art book, or - geez, I don't even know what porn they could have been inspired by. (Seriously, webbed breasts?!?!?)

Anyway, I think this could really be a viable franchise:this issue alone will bring in the anime fans, riding on the lasting popularity of stories like Escaflowne, and it's foolish to say that it would be limited in its appeal to being a "woman's title" - because after all, what subconscious fear is nearer to the heart of young men than that of losing their 'nads? I think the tale of a modern hero who cannot even call his privates private any longer, and whose sexual identity is challenged by the power he is destined to wield, is a story that will strike a deep chord in readers regardless of gender. Beautiful art and quality writing will make it a title anyone will be proud to have on their "hold" list!

--So, anyone think Top Cow would dare to take up such a pitch?
