Fortunately a higher court overruled and rebuked the judge who simultaneously claimed that he wasn't treating the victims differently because they were whores, and then went and stated that he thought they were different, and the crime itself different, because they were whores, and proceded to treat their attacker differently, because they were whores, and not "innocent" victims in his mind. This is a sign of progress, true.
But how long has Judge McBroom been getting away with this treatment of non-virginal women as subhuman? And how many other Judge McBrooms are there out there, across the country?
