My goals of making my own fantabulous clothes are being detrailed by the fact that I hate the company that makes my sewing machine.

Okay, that's a bit unfair. I pulled out my mom's old sewing machine on Friday and figured out how to thread it. I did the bobbin and the whole bit! But anytime I tried to sew I got one tangled mess. So Saturday I took it to the store where she got it ten years ago and they tell me that the timing is probably off, and it needs "preventative maintence" for the low-low price of $100. WTF?! I could get a cheap sewing machine for that, no? But my mom said she'd pay for it since it was hers to begin with, and my grandma bought it for her and she never used it so she felt someone should.

So now I have major pressure that I must learn how to operate this thingie. Which lead to the next item of locating the manual. I called the company today (which is right by work) and the customer service lady was SO MEAN! SO MEAN! I wanted to drive over there at lunch and beat her ass in! She actually hung up on me. So they're not getting my $5 for a photocopy of the manual. I'll pay this company online that charges $10 and lets me download a PDF.

But somethings this weekend were good.. we had to paint jeff's grandpa's garage when it was frappin' hot on Sunday.. but that wasn't one of the good things.

I got a cute top and the CUTEST yellow cardigan at H&M. And these cute giant star hair clips, but I didn't realize one of them was broken. I need to take a glue gun to that.

BUT... we finally went for DIM SUM!! Yumm!! Best breakfast/lunch/dinner EVER. And it was super cheap!! I am now obsessed with chee cheong fun.. I think that's what its called. Like these glutonous rice wrappers with shrimp inside. *drools* Soo yummy. And there was this fantastically yummy tofu dish that reminded me of egg foo young, but it was all breaded tofu.

Oh!Oh! So we'd went to Chinatown on Saturday to get bubble tea and because I decided I wanted a beaded jade bracelet. So we hit Asia Plaza and found the perfect bracelet, the colors were just GORGEOUS! I ask the lady how much and she gets on her cell phone and starts talking in . I don't speak whatever she spoke, but I have a pretty good idea that she was saying some little white girl wants a bracelet, what do I charge her? $35! Nooo way! So since the dim sum place (Li Wah) is in the same place we went back on Sunday when a different girl was working and she charged me $25. Score! The lovely jade bracelet is now MINE!

Its really frappin' hot outside and I need more boba! (I also need some asian friends to tell me the names of food at dim sum! haha!)
