Summary: Jimmy has some help from a friend on letting him stick around the Winchesters. (Demon!Jimmy/Human!Impala.)
“C'mon Im. Help a demon out.”
“Alright fine.”
Jimmy smile, proud of himself. Someone had to be on his side that he wasn't just another demon. He wanted the Winchesters to get along with him. Plus, someone had to look out for him. Being the ex-angel vessel meant the other demons didn't like him. At all. He was like the kid that everyone liked to pick on, expect being picked on by the demons was basically getting a really good beating.
And who better to convince the brothers then their own car? It was like a freak accident that the car was an actual woman and Jimmy didn't have the details, but he knew it would work.
The two walked into the diner, making their way over to where the brothers were already seated and waiting. Dean was the first to say anything. “You brought him?”
Jimmy glared at Dean and the Impala, who went by Imogen or Immy, took his hand and gave the demon a pointed look. “Dean, can't you be a little nice to him? I mean, before he was like this you seemed to like him...”
“Yeah, before he went and ran off on us after we taught him everything,” Dean grumbled, crossing his arms.
“Dean, she's right,” Sam said.
Jimmy gave Dean a smug grin. Sam would always be on his side. He understood why he did what he did. He'd been forgiven by the younger Winchester the second day he was with them and it was now going on a month.
Dean looked at his brother, and then back to Imogen and Jimmy. “Maybe eventually.”
A genuine smile slid onto Jimmy's face and he looked at Imogen. “How about now?”
“Why?” Dean looked at them curiously, almost as if he knew something was up.
Imogen gave Jimmy a knowing look and she leaned over, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. When Jimmy looked at the brothers then, they both seemed shocked. “What's wrong guys?”
The Winchesters exchanged looks. “Please tell me our car did not just kiss a demon,” Dean said while running a hand down his face. Sam seemed to be trying to find words to describe what just happened.
“I like Jimmy,” Imogen said in a stern tone. “So if he wants to hang around, I hope you'll let him.”
Jimmy gave a nod, agreeing with her. Sure, it was all just an act to keep him around and alive, but she was nice. Nicer then them sometimes. He stood up, giving the two a wave. “I'll be back later. Have something to do.”
“I'll walk with you,” Imogen told him as she got up.
“Don't go killing anyone or anything!” Dean told him as they walked back to the door and walked out.
“I think that went well,” she said with a roll of her eyes.
Nodding, Jimmy laughed, “It did. And hey, you don't kiss bad for an ex-car.” That earned him a punch in the arm. He laughed more as he began walking away, off to go find himself a room for the night and waving over his shoulder.
