Got some fun things that went on tonight. Lost and convos. and stuff.
My mom and I just watched disc two of Lost. It was funny since she has never seen any of the series except for "Pilot" waaaaaay back in 2004. Let's just say she's hooked. Anyhoo, we watched "White Rabbit" yesterday and tonight was "House of the Rising Sun", "The Moth", and "Confidence Man". I made her laugh because I refused to watch it until I had my black hoodie on (even tho I had it on all day) and re-taped my fingers. Like literally while I was putting on the tap she was on the phone talking to my aunt and she started explaining why I was doing it. Then she brought up the polar bear. Ugh. The damn polar bear... I'll get back to that then.
So we're watching "House of the Rising Sun", right? Charlie pops up on the screen and my youngest sister Lizzie, whom I've successfully turned into a Lostie, screams CHARRRRLIEEEEE. It was freaking funny as hell. Once "The Moth" went on we both shut up and watched like our lives depended on it. My mom looked at us and said, 'Wow. Liz must really like Lost.' That's when I go to say, 'Nope. It's just Charlie's on the telly and she doesn't wanna miss it.' I didn't think Liz was listening, but she started NODDING. Lol. A four year old Lostie. How about them apples...
I promised to explain the polar bear so I guess I should. Remember back in episode "Pilot pt.2" when Sawyer shot the bear? Well ever since Liz saw that she's been raving about getting a polar bear. Can you believe none of our local stores sell plain stuffed polar bears? Even Toys R Us, which was my first guess. They used to have that Animal Alley thing. Guess it got sized down or something cuz it was uber small and we found no polar bears. BUT I did find a bunny. I wanted to paint a number 8 on it. Hee hee hee. So we're questing for a polar bear before christmas for her. I have this very little one from a friend I'm giving her since I have no money. LIzeven agreed that we...I could put a DHARMA brand on it. :D That makes a very happy me. (She dones't even know what DHARMA is, let alone characters. She only knows Charlie, Jack, and Sawyer.)
Ahh... I think I have taught her well... Now if only I could get Kelsey (she's 6 and also my sister) to be a fangirl...
Oh and guess what else came up in topic when we watched the show? Charlie's death. My mom knows he dies since I spoiled that for her. She kinda knew already tho. Don't ever tell your mother you cried when your favorite character died. She LAUGHED. I glared at her and was like, 'Hey. Don't laugh. It's extremely sad. I went through 5 or 6 tissues. Garunteed you'll do the same. Hell even, [insert exbestfriend/arch enemy's name here] cried and she used TWO tissues.' I got another laugh and she said, 'I thought you only cried during Titannnnic?'
I was young when I saw it. The lady in the end reminded me of my nan and I balled my eyes out. Well not that bad. I only teared up. she likes to play it up tho. Curses...
Oh how wonderful. If we're watching all of Lost together, I'll be crying during S3's end. It's inevitable. IT's just too darn sad when he dies, I mean, he went out a hero and was so sweet. Sure he had a drug problem and sure he accidently took Aaron. Oh and he almost got Jack killed... Then there was that time... Lol. I'm just fucking around now. I was about to ramble. So yeah...
I think once we get past the episode where Charlie nearly dies because of Ethan, I'll stop taping my fingers. (Then my dad can stop calling it a "gang symbol". Thought he actually found out why I'm doing it, which made him more mad... Yeah, I can't win) Muahaha. But what about "Not Penny's Boat." Ha. I'll use that for all of S3 maybe!
So I'm gunna go update one of my fan fics, then do a stupid PSSA prep test that I'll fail just like yesterday...AND the day before. Oh, and the day before that IF I would've taken it. :D
