A Year In Review

Jan 03, 2012 19:35

Your main fandom of the year? Tie between Supernatural and Doctor Who. I picked up late to Who middle of this year, but I'm really enjoying it. And Supernatural is just ♥.

Your favorite film watched this year? Captain America! I literally watched it two days before the year was over and fell in love with the boy from Brooklyn, even before he was given the serum because he was so relatable.

Your favorite book read this year? Um... I only remember reading The Vampire Diaries (book 2 - the struggle), but I started The Host and have enjoyed it so far.

Your favorite album or song to listen to this year? Lady Antebellum's "We Owned the Night" & The Script's "Science and Faith"

Your favorite TV show of the year? Supernatural.

Your favorite LJ IJ community of the year? I won't choose one, so here's some shout outs~ 6wordstories, return_paradise, wandsandpie, _novaks, campcretaceous Thank you to everyone who RPs/had RP'd in these communities. You've all been so much fun and awesome friends.

Your best new fandom discovery of the year? The Dresden Files, Charmed, White Collar, & The Office. OH, and I can't forget Divine: The Series.

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year? The writing on Supernatural being a rollercoaster of ups and downs & highs and lows, the way Heroes S3 ended with Nathan dying and Sylar taking his place, and the epilogue portion of the Harry Potter movie since they didn't include all the kidlets.

Your fandom boyfriend/girlfriend of the year? LOL EVERYONE. nojk. I'll narrow my results...

Jimmy Novak - Reasons reasons reasons reasons.

Captain America a.k.a Steve Rogers - He's honestly the only superhero any geek ever needs.

Elle Bishop - Obligatory girl crush. The little electrokinectic is one fierce bitch that won my heart.

Jim Halpert - Cutest in The Office and his pranks on Dwight are awesome.

Your biggest squee moment of the year? I had a lot of these - when The Doctor and Donna saw the adipose in S4 (Doctor Who), Dean being high off the turducken stuff in 7.09 (Supernatural), Hawkeye appearing in a scene in Thor (Thor), and all the Supernatural AUs.

The most missed of your old fandoms? Firefly, Lost, and Heroes. ;-; I caught onto them when the shows were over.

The fandom/TV show you haven't tried yet, but want to? That's a tough question since I'm trying everything, but probably Game of Thrones & Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. They're got a pretty big hype.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year? The Avengers, the last movie in the "Blood and Ice Cream" trilogy from Edgar Wright + Simon Pegg + Nick Frost, more videos from The Hobbit set, The Host to start shooting, and MISHA BEING BACK ON SPN & AN EPISODE OF RINGER.
