I just recently re-created the mural I had painted on the SVT Gallery wall in April (for the Fusebox Festival Sweet Betrayal event). Someone wanted to buy the actual painting on the wall, but it couldn't be removed. So instead I made it again, but this time on 4 canvasses, for them.
I had some more time to do detail work, and I was also able to paint while sitting at my easel (instead of standing like I had for the gallery mural). I'm happy with the results!
It makes me think I might want to concentrate on some bigger pieces for a little while. But I also have some more little detailed painting commissions to do, including three itty bitty dessert paintings.
