Broken and Collected Thoughts of the Day
The past few weeks have been pretty swell. I've been busy with current shows and upcoming shows. Right now we're still doing Hitchcocked! and I'm in rehearsals for The Andersons. This week I have Dick & Jane at the Hideout at 10pm on Friday in a show that is FREE and has sold out the past two weeks. On Sunday we have a Girl Embassy World Team show and dance concert at the Hideout at 7pm for only $5. We have a brand new dance to premiere and brand new outfits as well! You will loooove. You must come!

^ These are the character shoes I bought today. They have cushioned insoles and are very steady, making them heels perfect for the stage. Why did I not think about these before? I always have trouble when I need to wear heels onstage and these fit and wear so well!
Dammit. I love dance shoes. My heart throbs for them.
Today is Roy's 33rd birfday!!!
He is awesome. Little Mister Awesome.
We will dine wherever he wishes tonight!
And in more good news, he got a job offer from Paypal, and it even pays better than his old IBM job! I think it's interesting, Roy has only ever had interviews for two jobs in his life, and he was offered both of them. Like I said, Little Mister Awesome.
I'm lucky to have snagged him when I did ;) .
Oooh, when I am done writing this post I will give him his presents! Hooray! (He's up doing our taxes)
And then we will have some wine to celebrate two great things - birthday and job getting!
Gosh. Gee! I still love Roy sooo much (remember? I loved him a lot when we first got together). And I love him more every day. How is it possible? How does it keep going? So many good things piling up over the years... and it doesn't hurt that he is truly one of the best people I've ever known. Seriously, he's so nice! And lovely! And - yay Roy! Let's celebrate Roy today. Roy is a person worth celebrating!
2010 is going very well so far and there are so many more good things to come!

I have been in a good mood tonight! I made dinner and I gave Roy birfday ice cream! I put on my new shoes and tights and danced around the house!
