Best You've Ever Seen (test drabble)

Jan 16, 2005 01:43

Hrm. I should have mentioned in my little intro post thinger that I was planning on posting more than just fanfic. But for now, I'll stick with the Buffy junx.

In the future, however, you may expect to see at the very least snippets of chapters from Love Lives in Loserville, a sort of idiot-Jebbina memoir compilation of my epic and tragic love life. I mention this because tonight I get to add a chapter to the list.

Well, maybe not a whole chapter. But someone spreading rumors in my last home town about me having slept with a close friend? It deserves at the very least a paragraph.

Anyway, on with the test-drabble:

Best You've Ever Seen

"Okay, everybody,

I put on some make up,"

"Red glitter, or pink?"

"Please."

"Right, red glitter."

"Turn on the 8-track,"

"That one."

"But blue eyeshadow is so eighties!"

"Pull the wig down from the shelf,"

"How’s that?"

"Hold on, it’s lopsided."

Buffy opened the bathroom door, made curious by the blaring music. Andrew and Dawn turned to look at her. Andrew adjusted his wig. She shook her head mutely and shut the door.

"Clothes?"

"I’ll go get Buffy’s red corset."

"Fabulous!"

"Suddenly I’m Miss Punk Rock Star of Stage and Screen and I ain’t never, I’m never turning back!"

Woah-hey, it worked.
