Results
First off, let me say that house hunting after a 10 hour day is extremely exhausting.
That being said, we met our realtor at the Seabrook house around 5:30. We saw an almost exact replica of this house a few months ago. Both houses are newly constructed, but this house is closer to the street and has some updates that the other one didn't.
Reasons we love it
- 12k kitchen with granite counter tops, cherry finishing, all brand new stainless steel appliances.
- Pellet stove in the living room, which will heat the house amazingly.
- A huge, gorgeous ceiling fan in the living room, cathedral ceilings and sky light.
- 3 bedrooms. Master bedroom also has cathedral ceilings.
- Full basement, the entire length of the house, bulkhead to the outside, new heating equipment.
- 1, 3/4 bath.
- Ridiculous amounts of closest space, we're talking 7 or 8 of them.
- Perfect yard, front, side and back. Along with a small stone wall seperating the house from the street.
- Taxes!! Under 3k!!!
Okay...so...needless to say...we're doing it. I'm getting the paperwork tomorrow. We're signing off on the offer and praying that it goes through.
We can't handle being beat out again.
