Ireland has a general election next Thursday. Tonight RTE (the national broadcaster) had the first of it's party leader debates. I am watching like a good journo... but this is the best line I have ever heard in a political debate.
Pat Rabbitte, the leader of the Irish Labour party, just said of Michael McDowell, the leader of the Progressive Democrats, the junior government party: "You are like a menopausal Paris Hilton."
