I've actually been doing some things the last two days.
Friday I decided I really need to see more movies, so I went to the cinema to see The Last King of Scotland. To be honest it was a bit disappointing. It was very predictable, never really got going. I know it got Oscar nominations, but I don't really think deserved.
Saying that, of course James McEvoy was lovely and a great actor. And it is a little weird how those 70s suits actually suit him! :D
What else... oh I watched a dvd tv movie I ordere from Play.com this week. 'Low Winter Sun.' Why did I buy it? Cos *whispers* Burn Gorman was in it *blushes*. He was great! He had a scottish accent! Hee! Cuteness. And if I can figure out how to post screen caps or clips I promise I will. Other than that it was pretty dire.
Oh and on the subject. Burn on Eastenders was great! He was like a nasty little Hunchback of Notre Dame with a wicked limp. Oh but he entertained me :) Moonbeam Tellytubby - I think I'll name my MP3 that - what do ye think?
And the final thing that has caught my viewing attention is Central Park West on Youtube. Oh JB my darling, how watching you kiss a girl in a carriage makes me squee! Hehehe. It really is terrible stuff, but I'm addicted to it now and will be watching all of it on youtube!
My sad thing today. Today is my Gran's first anniverary. I miss her so much. We were really close. She talked to me about things she didn't tell her own kids (my Dad, my aunts) and she knew me so well, better than I know myself. Even when she was ill she was looking out for me and was the most insightful woman I ever knew. The only person I had honest to god chats about things like history, politics and literature with and didn't feel pretentious. Whereever she is now I hope it's with my grandad, her little boy, and maybe even my mum. Love you Gran.
