the quote is from Houses of the Holy and interestingly, I think the direct quote is: "I'll tell you who else had faith like that. Mom. She used to tell me when she tucked me in that angels are watching over us." which would imply both Dean and Sam. hmmmm.

Also in the episode Faith even though the reaper is not anything to do with God the Preacher is in Dean's word's "A good man" and when Dean asks "Why out of all those sick people, did you pick me to heal?" he replies "I didn't pick you, Dean. The Lord did."

And about both of them.
I am even more convinced now Mary's storyline is going to tie in with this...

Could the "us" have been Mary and Dean, if it was Mary speaking to Dean?

Yep, I guess it could be Mary and Dean either. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see! :D

Ha, and I just finished rewatching the finale of season 1 and the Dean says to the YED "I swear to God..." and the YED's response is... "What? What are you and God gonna do?"
