Black Manor. Andromeda's Bedroom - Sunday Morning.
After a fitful, nightmare-shrouded sleep, Andromeda awoke to the throbbing pain in her hand and removed the shard of glass. Reality came slamming into her as she heard her mother screaming orders at a house elf downstairs. She forced herself to shut her mother out as thoughts of the previous night swam through her mind. She thought back to the conversation she had had with Bella a few nights ago by floo and crawled over to the desk from where she had been laying on the floor. She picked up her quill and found a piece of parchment....

She touched her lips and sealed the note with a blood kiss. Shaking, she stood and moved over to the window. She opened it and whistled for her owl and on his arrival on her windowsill tied the tiny scroll to his leg.
"For Bellatrix Black's eyes only," she whispered to him and he took off and was gone into the cool crisp morning air.
