fortunate
i am really so lucky. i have a wonderful, gorgeous, thoughtful boyfriend whose family treats me like i'm a member of it, a great (though some times stressful) job, an awesome talented, loving family, and friends who make me want to cry because they are so incredible (Megan, Donny, Seph, Kelley, Ruthie, etc).
Seph's mom made me cupcakes for my birthday that spelled out "Happy Birthday, Gabie" and bought me a pair of cute, black and red, DIckie's scrubs for the doctor's office. They sang to me and we enjoyed ice cream cake and cupcakes. Today at the office, Dr. RYan (Seph's dad) bought me a cake and the office sang to me. Thursday we are celebrating my birthday at my house in Eunice with my family and a few friends.
Saturday we went to Mechacon. I have never met so many insanely weird, socially retarded nerds in my life. It was hilarious and terrifying all at the same time. We snuck Ruthie in at night for the karaoke and we all nearly died from laughing so hard when this goth girl poured her heart out to "You Were Meant For Me" by jewel. I never knew someone could be so tone deaf. Aside from buying me an incredible dress from Japan for my birthday, Seph also bought me an adorable little purse that is the shape of a mouse's head and a hello kitty cell phone accessory, both of which he surprised me with in cute ways.
