this is somewhat of a joke but also i rant i had to go on about someone i know. and don't ask me who it is about....because i'm not tellin'
<3

i take back ever saying that you were interesting. you laugh outloud, thinking everyone must be buying it when everyone who really knows you
thinks quite the opposite. but you can claim to be everything that your not and disguise your less than thrilling personality with worthless, empty words, disguised as "abstract art"-ha. hilarious. and just so you know....your sentences ring to none originality. they’ll say that they all love you for you to spread your legs...and to ME. . .THAT'S tragic (but funny nonetheless) humor !!end transmission!!

this weekend Seph and i have had a rather bad strike of bad luck. we were going to go to the abandoned steel mill-but a cop drove by as Seph was walking up to the fence...a COP...on a supposed to be "deserted" road...and i was so looking forward to seeing it.

we were on our way to the dervish last night, and i thought i'd forgotten my purse. we tried to go in anyway since they've never carded, but on that one night they asked for our i.d.s. So, we were forced to take a 30 minute drive through the worst traffic i've ever seen back to Seph's house to look for my purse, then found it under a seat in the car. another 30 minute trip to the Dervish. finally we arrived, fearing we wouldn't have much time to sit and watch people dance and try to work up the courage ourselves to dance. fortunately, it closed at 3 a.m., not 2 a.m. and we were able to spend well over an hour there....we even DANCED!!!!!! for the first time in either of our lives at a club to more than 30 seconds of a song.

friday night we missed all 3 bands i wanted to see at Jazz Fest. because we showed up too late and went through hell trying to get in (my mom had leftus guest passes since she played this year). when finally got to the stage, the last band i wanted to see was on there last song.

that night we were supposed to go to dinner with my brother, which seemed like a pleasant idea...after about 20 minutes of driving around in the quarter looking for the RIGHT Marriott (there are 4 Marriotts, by the way), we finally found him....BUT with 3 of his stoned, loud friends who were also coming to dinner. the six of us crammed into Seph's 5 seater car...i had to sit on the lap of a guy who i don't like so everyone could ride. i had to remian there for another 20 minutes will we found a resteraunt that wasn't packed.

plus, my sleeping habits have been a bit off lately.

terrible mess. i cannot wait to get back into lafayette away from the chaos of Jazz Festival.
