Soda, Pop, Coke... I've heard it all
It is amusing to me, since i've spent time in a lot of different areas around the US and even lived in a few locations for extended periods of time... that this debate could be translated into a map confirming my suspicions. We call "soft drinks" soda in CA, they call it pop in the midwest, and in the south they call it coke (probably due to it being the center of the coke company and a major manufacturing area).
