So, today was the day of love, affection and appreciation... for some. Single Awareness Day for others and for many (comme moi) it's another day for excessive amounts of confections! Yay! For my first few classes, I passed out valentine grams with Fresh Force with Cassey. C'etait tres amusement et interessant. My Ordway audition on Friday turned out better than I had thought. Mr. Tarabek wanted me to play a longer part of my piece and pick up the tempo, but that was about it. Sightreading was kind of weird. I sightread a Charlie Daniels song. I think I did pretty well on my scales, since all he said about them was good and nice and if you have auditioned with him before, you know he definitely isn't one to bite his tongue. Do I think I made it? I have absolutely no idea. I'm not letting it affect me as much as the years before, which I believe helped me cope with my nervousness. Pepfest rocked! Mwahahahaha! Camille, Ashley and Nate know why I'm smiling right now. :) Anyway, the Central Hiphoppers were magnificent as always and my hype factor went up in about 10 minutes (I always get worked up quick on school spirit days and go all out with my red and black). Sno-daze was so wonderful. We went to Sidney's (I got a chocolate volcano, which is basically a rich chocolate bundt cake laden with molten chocolate sauce, drizzled with raspberry sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side). It was so delicious. I must have another one. NOW! Vite! Lol! I just spent the night dancing with my girls. My feet hurt so bad, but the pain seemed to be replaced with the joy. It was definately something to remember for eternity. Ciao!
