One of the joys of living in Texas is observing how truck-driving Texans choose to decorate their back pick-up windows. Bumper-stickers and decals are not in the same class as full-size rear window "art." David's favorite is a full-window decal of an American flag over which is superimposed a bald eagle wearing an American flag bandanna. There's also the classic Old English surname, the hard-to-beat Calvin pissing/praying, and the individual name decals designating who sits where in the truck. Yesterday I saw, on a Dodge, "Doesn't sink like a rock" which, we can only figure, is a weak reference to Chevy's old "Like a Rock" campaign.
My current favorite. In HUGE, several-hundred-point letters: "I'd rather be CUMMIN' than STROKIN'"
It makes me smile to think that those people probably drive that truck to cowboy church and think nothing of it.
