JAKLJLA. IN YOUR SNOTTY ANNOYING FACE, NATALIE. That was AMAZING. Amanda is such a good actress she even had me second-guessing the situation even though I was sure they didn't show her finding the idol because she HAD found it. SO WELL PLAYED, GIRL. Even though you were crazy enough to tell Parvatti about the idol before you had it in your possession. Oh man, and the reaction from the panel? AKLJLAJKLA SO ENTERTAINING. I really hope it comes down to Amanda, Parvatti and Cerie. Because the favourites MADE this season for me, they've all actively done things to deserve it, and because I can't fucking stand Natalie or 70's hair boy.
Supernatural 3x14 Long Distance Call:
Overall I didn't love this one. I really liked the idea of it, but the actual IT left me feeling pretty unaffected and underwhelmed. It felt to me like a whole lot of stuff we've seen before sprinkled with a hefty helping of typical SPN jokes and plot devices. I'm sure high expectations didn't help. With only three episodes left and a short season I was kind of expecting them to come out with guns blazing and blow me away with every one of the last three. Fingers crossed for the next two, at least! I'm pretty unspoiled and have no clue how they're going to leave us this season. PROBABLY PAINFULLY.
Also, guys, what's the deal with John Shiban? I haven't seen anyone talking about him going from writer and executive producer to consulting producer? I see that he's working for another show now, but why? Why did he leave? In interviews and stuff he seemed to really love SPN. And it's not like I thought everything the guy touched was gold, but I really liked most of his episodes, and I really fucking LOVED a handful of them. I AM SO BUMMED OUT ABOUT THAT, GUYS. And he was our inside man when it came to getting a body swap episode! WHAT GIVES?
Pretty Lighting
I actually hated this scene. Remember no chick flick moments, show? Apparently not. I do get that they had to reiterate this stuff after the momentum jarring hiatus, and that this is probably their last chance for a moment like that before the finale shit hits the fan, but another motel room confessional tacked on to the end of an episode? KILL ME NOW. Remember the good old days when the boys mostly communicated with knowing looks, sarcasm, and things conspicuously left unsaid? Remember how nice that was? If there did HAVE to be another emo ending it could have at least had less cringe-worthy dialogue. "I'm scared, Sam. I'M REALLY SCARED". *CRINGE, CRINGE*. I wish Sam had cut Dean off, all, "It's okay, man. I get it. I'm freaking out, too". And then I wish Sam had told Dean that he saved a little kid that day just so that Dean could have beamed at him, all proud that Sam had managed on his own all while patiently dealing with Dean's freaked out ass. AND THEN BEER. Eh, all that aside it still makes the picspam because the lighting was damn pretty, and Dean was all glassy-eyed, and Sam was all weary-faced, and I'm easy like that.

Another moment that was entertaining in the wrong way. OH, GEE, I WONDER IF THE BADDIE HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT TOTALLY INCONSPICUOUS BEE INFESTATION.

It's my theory that this episode was secretly all about beverages. That toss at the beginning was awesome, and I was totally mesmerized by the fact that Sam tossed the drink without even opening it. DON'T BE TAKING YOUR ANGER OUT ON YOUR SOFT DRINK, DUDE.
Saving People
This set is here just for the purpose of staring at Sam's legs and the back of his neck. I love that his hair is so long that it's, like, getting in his face and being all erratic at the sides. Rawr.

I wonder if Jared got yelled at by the make-up lady. Either way, PRETTY. And did it look like his upper body had doubled in size to anyone else? I hope Jared was pumping up over the hiatus because he's preparing for running around shirtless during the majority of Friday the 13th.

Long Over-Due Conversations

Watching Dean Lose it
Easily my favourite things about the whole episode. Dean all confused and desperately hopeful and short-tempered, and Sam staring at him with so much weary empathy. SHUT UP, YOU TWO, WITH YOUR SAD FACES.
John: Dean, how could you do it. Sell your soul.
Dean: I was looking after Sammy like you told me to.
John: I never wanted this. Never.
Dean: You're unbelievable, you know that? I mean, for months we've been trying to break this demon deal. Now dad's about to give us the freaking address and you can't accept it? The man is dead and you're still butting heads with the guy!
Sam: That is not what this is about.
Sam: The fact is we got no hard proof here, Dean. After everything you're still just going on blind faith!
Dean: Yeah, well, maybe. Maybe that's all I got, okay?
Father: Did you do this to my daughter?
Dean: Wait, this is a mistake.
Dean: I'm sorry, I didn't kill your daughter.
Father: Then what are you doing here?
Dean: I don't know.
I think that was one of the darkest, most disturbing moments ever on the show, and I kind of wish the episode could have ended right there.
