I don't really have any of the Toby details straight because when the whole thing happened I was too blinded by rage over the entire scenario pay any actual attention to what was going on. That and it's been so long since they dealt with Toby. And I have the worst memory ever. So, I'm a bit lost too. I believe it was always assumed that Toby's brother leaked the info until tonight, and I honestly can't remember when Toby's brother died, or if they ever actually mentioned that. I just remember him still being alive in season one. So, basically I can't really answer your questions and maybe someone who pays better attention to these things will pipe up.
Oh, also, I read your post about the show the other day but I keep forgetting to comment. I loved everything you had to say, and I'd be happy to help you out with episodes. I don't have all the episodes from S5, but I have some. Let me know what you still need if you're interested.
Hee! I love your story! I think, as fangirls, our biggest burden is having to hide our insanity from all the non-insane folk out there. And I'm finding it particularly impossible to contain myself during these final episodes! My mom was in the room with me, but still I let out some sort of big gleeful/surprised sound when they showed that clip. PEOPLE JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND! Seven years and 146 episodes we have waited for this and we have every right to jump around and make absurd noises at the sight of these two fictional people having had fictional sex without being judged for it!
Oh man, I'm thinking of the look Josh gives Donna in bed and I'm just DYING HERE. It was SUCH a Josh look!
STEPH! The only awesome episode from last season dealt with Toby's brother dying. IT HAD THE MAN-TACKLING! ...and the CJ/Toby crying. There was that, too. But I remember the man-tackling the most. (You know, Josh and Toby physically fighting in the west wing, because that would ever happen omg.)
Ummmmm, hi! It should be next week, now! I'm going to go away and stop butting in on other people's comments now. :p
Yeah, when I said I had the worst memory ever, I MEANT IT. How could I forget this? I even forget the man-tackling! What is WRONG with me?
Maybe by some strange twist of fate I never actually saw that episode? There was ONE episode that wouldn't play for me. Maybe it was that one. Except, probably I just can't remember anything for longer than a week.
NO, BUTT IN! My LJ is all about the butt in. I like it when my friends start annoying each other instead of just me. BUT I KID! I LOVE YOU!
Hey, I'm going to see RENT with Laura! I'm going to meet Laura! Cool, huh?
And then there's Josh and Donna in bed, which you didn't seem to feel the need to mention. What is wrong with YOU, I ask.
OMG, I'M LISTENING TO THE SONG MAKIN' WOOPIE WHILE THINKING ABOUT JOSH AND DONNA! It's fate.
All I remember is the man-tackling! They showed a promo for it and I just laughed and laughed and talked about it all week and it was wonderful. You have to watch it! You must!
I saw that you guys were going to see Rent and I was going to comment about the *jealous* but then I had to work and I didn't. But yay! Have you seen it before? I'm going to see it in May, too, only not with you guys. Just to clear that up. Which is sad because it would be really cool if I was.
And umm, it's possible that the concrete visual of Josh and Donna naked in bed has officially eaten my brain. I mean, I know I've talked about that happening before, but it's like overload over here. I can't even think about it without feeling giddy. THAT is what's wrong with me. ;)
Toby's brother was diagnosed with cancer and then committed suicide. It's dealt with in the sixth season episode "Drought Conditions." *gestures to icon*
I always assumed that his brother leaked the info too. At the end of last season it's what I thought and the whole TOBY'S A TRAITOR!!! thing threw me for a loop.
Holy crap, I think I really didn't see that episode. There was one episode that wouldn't play for me from the sixth season, but I just assumed it was no big deal. God. I need to see that now.
I really don't know what to think about the whole who leaked the info story line. I'm not sure why they would want to complicate things by making it anyone but Toby's brother. Unless it was just the only reason they could think of to actually have a Toby episode. Because, John Wells in the kind of the ensemble cast, afterall.
I think everyone answered my Toby's brother question. Awww, poor Toby.
I'd be happy to help you out with episodes That's such a sweet offer! I'm watching S5 through Netflix, so that's taken care of, but they don't have S6. If you have any of that season, I'd be really grateful.
I think, as fangirls, our biggest burden is having to hide our insanity from all the non-insane folk out there. Oh, definitely. If someone in RL even mentions a show that you watch, you just want to start throwing fandom jargon out there but alas, nobody would understand.
Oh man, I'm thinking of the look Josh gives Donna in bed and I'm just DYING HERE. It was SUCH a Josh look! I NEED NEXT SUNDAY.
I only have episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 15 from season six, but just let me know if you ever want any.

YES. I catch myself getting just a little bit too excited and I have to tone it down a notch. It's hard. I think I should give up on my mom not knowing I'm a crazy fangirl, but I'd like to keep up appearances with the rest of the world. Thank god for you guys.
I just wish someone would leak the rest of the episodes. It's SO painful to watch them like this. Sometimes I think those crazy reality shows that air episodes every single night really know what they're doing.
I probably have a bunch (okay, ALL) of season season 6 episodes, want me to dig through my CDs, see what I can find?
Also, I can't help but think that with the election being split up into two parts, we're still not going to see that scene until in two weeks. Call me a pessimist if you must, but it wouldn't surprise me.
No more Leo makes me sad. I actually got all choked up when I saw him in the credits. *sniff*
