New job and house, just need more money now!
My God its raining today, haven't seen rain like it in AGES!! Can't imagine a couple of weeks ago I was walking around in sleeveless tops, wouldn't dream of doing that now. The rain actually doesn't bother me that much as I am working this weekend anyway.
Have managed to wangle finishing early tonight though so I can get home to watch the season 2 finale of Grey's Anatomy on 5. Have already seen it but Grey's is fastly becoming ANOTHER American drama that I have become hooked on.
Went to see Spiderman 3 on Thursday - LOVED IT!! Graphics were amazing and I just loved it all.
Helen and I went to look at some houses on Friday with the intention of buying them. First one was a no-no (second bedroom too small and the kitchen was in the basement) but we liked the second one. It is a bit expensive for us but we might be able to get the price down but it was lush. Helen and I aren't too picky but we do want a house in the Swindon town centre, upstairs toilet at least and a nice kitchen. Second house covers that but then I went to see a house yesterday on my own and that was lovely as well. Am sending Helen to go and see it but its a hard decision to make. Also so expensive to buy!! I will not launch into my rant about the imposibility of First Time Buyers getting on the property ladder but its bloody difficult. For 2 of us going in together it will be a stretch.
I have another job interview on Tuesday. This is for a Family Support Worker, hopefully it'll be the case of second time lucky.
