My job situation
I have decided to hand in my notice! I do enjoy my job but not enough and I have to be practical now as I am simply not earning enough money to do the things I want to do. I feel like I am compromising myself because I am choosing money over job satisfaction but it is a very important thing to have (money that is!) I was hoping for a job with Swindon Youth Services and it hasn't happened and I can't wait any longer. I have had 5 rejections for jobs in the last 2 months which is very depressing but I am still remaining the eternal optimist and that the right job just hasn't come up yet. I am also really not enjoying it anymore and I am taking my frustrations out on the clients which isn't fair on them as they haven't done anything wrong. I am now with an agency who think they might have a job for me at The Bank of New York (unfortunately not based there) so will let you know what happens there.
Went to see my friend Sharon in Hertfordshire on Friday for the night. It was nice and civilised, just a few drinks and then a nice meal out. I haven't seen her for ages so it was good to catch up and my sister came as well. Yesterday we went to see my grandparents who live nearby and another nice meal out. I had puddings both meals as well which I never do so have been to the gym today to try and undo the damage.
Weather is lush today so might be forced to go to a beer garden later. My sister has just started working at our local Wetherspoons and she is working today so might go down and annoy her. No cheap drinks unfortunately!!! I have a few jobs to do around the house though, I guess that is what weekends off are for, to do all the things that you don't bother doing when you are working. I should wash my car but I really can't be arsed to do that.
Am going to the cinema this week to see Blades of Glory, that looks great and I love Jon Heder.
My ipod is being silly at the moment, I go to put a song on and it will just refuse to play it, but it never use to do that! Not sure what I have done but its bloody annoying, also not sure how to fix it which is even more annoying.
