My DPP Entry! Please vote for me!
Hello friends!
They've posted the entries for the Double Period Project on Your Wardrobe Unlock'd!
Here's my entry.
You don't have to be a member to view it (as far as I've been told). But if you are a member, please vote for me! :) There are so many amazing entries, I don't think I have much chance of winning, but it would be nice to at least get a few votes. :P
In other news:
I finished my second mock-up of my corset, which is not really a mock-up, it's just that I plan on making one more, in "real" corset supplies and fixing other little mistakes. But I'm almost finished flossing it as well. Since that's done, it means I can move on to my civil war evening dress, as the ball is only two weeks away! Yikes!
As today is a holiday, once I get my butt off the internet, I'm going to start mocking that up!
Here is my inspiration, thanks to jennil !
It's the pink evening dress on the right(though of course mine will be green... :P ). Not sure if I'm going to do the buttons down the front, but as I'm not totally jazzed about the idea of a dress I can't get out of easily I may just do it. Though it doesn't look like it's front closing in the plate... Jenni is actually taking her dress inspiration from the dress on the left, so we will be able to kind of re-create this fashion plate! :)
