It's a posting frenzy!
Sorry for posting so much in the last little while. I guess when it rains it pours! :)
I had a brain wave yesterday after my Halloween post. Two perfect group costume ideas for this year!

OK, I think pretty much everyone in the free world knows how much I love Jane Austen. Obsessed is maybe even too tame a word. I've been wanting to do some kind of JA related costume for years (JA's ghost, Emma, etc) but talked myself out of it for a number of reasons (see previous post about "pretty" Halloween costumes - by the way, this is only in regards to myself, I have nothing against other people who do that, I don't know why I'm so against it for myself...) Anyway, tangent!
The other cool thing is, right now at work I am in seventh heaven, because guess what I was given to work on? The FIRST EDITION of JA's first published novel, Sense & Sensibility! In it's original binding! From 1811! It's very rare. I can't begin to describe how happy and excited this makes me. So of course I've had Austen on my mind a lot lately.
So I'm trying to convince my roommates to do this with me. I really think people would get the Zombies thing, not so sure about the fight club, but I think either would be hilarious. I like the idea of the fight club because we could each be a heroine from a different novel (complete with cuts and bruises), but for the zombie thing, some people could be dead and some could be zombie slayers. Oh, and for the couple who have boyfriends, they of course could be Mr Darcys, etc...
What do you think?
