Disney Update...
Finally, almost a month later i get a chance to update this livejournal for real.
This is all going to be about my Disney trip, which was absolutely incredible!!!
And fair warning, this will be a long entry!
It was a gift from Jonathan for my graduation/birthday present.
Our trip was from June 10th to the 15th.
We stayed with his grandparents down in Orlando, who only lived about 10 minutes from Disney World itself.
Saturday: MGM
Our flight down was good.
We left at 8am in the morning and arrived in Florida @ around 10:30am.
When we got there we headed straight to MGM studios and my first ride was the Hollywood Tower of Terror.
i was scared because i don't like rides that just drop you.
i basically cried during the whole thing so you can say that we didn't go on that ride again.
Then we went on the Rock N' Rollercoaster featuring Aerosmith.
It was incredible!
i usually close my eyes on a lot of rides but during the whole trip i learned NOT to close my eyes.
We got to see the new Stunt Show and go on the Backlot Tour.
It was great!
Saturday: Magic Kingdom
After seeing all that we could see @ MGM, we headed to the Magic Kingdom!
Seeing Cinderella's castle in real life was just so exciting for me.
i couldn't believe i was really in Disney World.
i was definitely acting like a little kid by then! Haha!
We got there right as the parading was going to start but we wanted to head right for Splash Mountain so we dodged the whole crowd for the parade and got on the side where Splash Mountain was.
We went on that ride like 5 times, but it wasn't until the last time that we went on that i finally realized what the story of Briar Rabbit was about...haha!
i got drenched!
Then we went on Thunder Mountain.
That was fun too!
We saw fireworks around Cinderella's castle and it was just beautiful.
We finally got home and was totally exhausted the first day!
Sunday: Magic Kingdom: Day 2
We decided to go back to the Magic Kingdom since we didn't get to see much because it was nighttime by the time we got there the day before so we went back to see everything during the day.
It started to rain because of the hurricane that was going through Florida at the time and we were getting the tail end of it.
This was the day we ended getting out pictures taken with Chip N Dale and my favorite, E-or!
Jonathan waited in line with me for 25 minutes just so we could take a picture with E-or.
It was so cute!
We got to go on a bunch of other rides like Space Mountain, the Haunted Mansion, the Buzz Lightyear ride, Stitch's Great Escape, it's a Small World, and some other.
We had ice cream @ Mrs.Pott's Ice Cream Parlor, where Jonathan later on got sick of.
We got home late that evening and Jonathan was claiming he was getting a stomach ache.
Later on that night he started throwing up and going to the bathroom every 10 mins.
i felt so bad for my baby.
He ended up sleeping on the love seat in the living room after taking some heavy meds.
Monday: The Mall
The next day was just pouring rain all day as the hurricane was going through Florida and giving us all the rain.
Jonathan was still sick and we wanted to go to the mall but since he couldn't go, Grandma & Grandpa Hebert brought me to the mall without him.
i got two pairs of Gaucho(sp?) pants, 3 new belly rings, pair of flip flops, and then they brought me to the Coach Outlet and i got a new Coach wristlet.
Tuesday: Animal Kingdom
We woke up early and got to go to Animal Kingdom.
We quickly got our fast passes for the new Expedition Rollercoaster and then went straight to the Safari.
i got to see all the animal and it was really fun!
Then we went on the River Rapids where our ponchos really came in handy.
We got to see the Lion King show, which was awesome, and we went on the Dinosaur ride and went to Dinosaur Land.
We finally got to go on the new Expedition Ride and then it started raining.
The new ride was awesome even though i was scared of the Yeti at the end.
We finally got to see the 3D presentation of "It's a Bug's Life" and that's when it started to downpour.
After the show it stopped raining until we started to get food and then it was downpouring like crazy. We waited til it stopped and then headed back home.
We went to the pool for a bit and then headed to Epcot.
We went and saw all the countries and tried to eat at one but everything was booked so we ate at Japan instead because it was quick and easy.
We saw the light show over the lake and it was incredible.
We had to head home afterwards because we were getting so tired and my feet were getting blisters from my sandals.
Wednesday: Epcot: Day 2
We made reservations @ England to eat there for lunch.
Jonathan and i both had 1 of their beers and mixed with the scorching heat and me getting a little sick, i got pretty tipsy. Hahah!
We went on the new ride Soaring (which i absolutely loved!) and Fast Track.
We also went into Innovations were Jonathan beat me in every game there was in there.
And we both fell asleep on the ride that was in the big golf ball....hahaha!
When we went and saw the 3D presentation of "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience", i got scared and didn't really like the show.
Afterwards we headed back to MGM to see the light show, Fantasmic.
The light show was AMAZING!
i loved every bit of it and then we went on the Rock N Rollercoaster again.
Later on that night i wasn't feeling all too well.
Thursday: Relaxing
We both didn't want to go home.
i loved it so much down there.
Jonathan's grandparents brought us out to eat at a buffet place and then we hung out at the pool til our flight.
i felt really achy.
When we got home later on that night i wasn't feeling good at all.
Later on the next week, i went to the doctor's and found out i got pneumonia.
Prolly from being outside in the rain so much.
Overall, i had the most best time in Disney World.
Definitely going to take a trip back!
My boy is the greatest for planning the whole trip.
i took way too many pictures but you can look at them all in my album.
