Yes, fangirl!Becky was hilarious. And bad-ass Castiel was effing' epic. I think my favourite part of the episode though was the Lucifer/Nick conversation. Really well acted especially by the actress who played Lucifer. I can't wait to see Mark Pellegrino play Lucifer though, I've only seen him in Dexter and Lost but enjoyed his performances in both a lot. I also really liked that Dean didn't easily forgive Sam, I thought it was realistic and I can't wait to see how their relationship progresses throughout the season. I'm certainly not against more Dean/Castiel bonding.
The only thing missing in the episode was an epic Dean/Castiel reunion hug. Damn, I wanted that to happen really badly...

ME TOO! Especially when we saw how devastated Dean was when Chuck told him that Cas was dead! THEY NEED TO KISS HUG!!

Exactly - I feel the same: that's how it would have been handed in RL!
OMG, Dean's face when Chuck said Cas died was heartbreaking. Also dirty thoughts went into my mind when the words "angel" and "condom" were uttered by Dean. Foreshadowing, perhaps? I wish.
"Also, how hilarious was it that de-powered Cas was ten times more kickass than powered Cas? Like, he took out two angels and scared Zach shitless."
I have to wonder what made that change. Now, he's no talk, straight to angel-whooping. Let's not forget no mercy and realisation that he's killing his own angelic brothers of the garrison. But, how could we complain? HE SWOOPS IN TO SAVE THE DAY AND HE KICKS ASS!!! (Though I like his hair to be more ruffled rather than neat ^^)
"Life as an angel's condom."- Dean.
Oooh. We know WHOSE condom Dean belongs to *coughs*CAS*coughs*
Lucifer was great. The conversation between him and Nick does make me sympathise him. I look forward to seeing what Lucifer plans for the Apocalypse. I think he just wants some love and attention from his Creator.
I have to wonder what made that change. Faith? I think Cas' faith in God and in Dean has been completely renewed. I have always felt that Cas' strength has been fueled by his faith and/or his lack of it.
That was one packed episode. They threw alot at us. Basass Cas (and I too was all . . . um I thought he was de-powered? He looks totally powered up), Dean's epic conversation with Sam (yes, finally. He needs to break the ties a little (not in a bad way) but in a less co-dependent, my life revolves only around Sam, way. Loved the scene between Nick and Lucifer (extremely well acted) and then Zacahariah and company moving up to a whole new level of douchery. (wow the stomach cancer and broken leg were cold)
I loved a lot of it, have tons of questions and bottom line am just so, so happy to have the show back.
I knew something wasn't right about Bobby saying what he did to Sam. Me too. I was watching with aisling_door and said, "that's not Bobby" and she was like WTF. LOL.
I was like, idk I thought that was stupid and like he should have talked to him more or came up with something better than it'll probably suck and u'll never get ur family back but u'll have retribution.
See I had the opposite reaction, because sometimes when you have nothing left - like, really, really nothing left - then the only thing you can do is get some retribution on the people who took it all away. I also don't think that Lucifer is going to try and kill God or something like that, but that he's going to kill the thing that has taken God's attention away from him: humanity.
