I just got busy as all hell? 0 - 60 in 2 seconds flat.
May - I'll be live painting at a show featuring
Glenn Arthur! I'm terrified.
June - 1 dog themed piece for
Gallery Meltdown's "Mute of Hounds" show [charity show!].
July - 1 to 3 Balinese themed pieces for
New Puppy.
November - I need to have 5 [FIIIIIIVE] tiki/rockabilly/custom culture pieces for
Rothick Art Haus.
Tom Laura is one of the other artists from the show - to give you an idea of the vibe.
December - 1 unicorn themed piece for Rothick Art Haus.
That's 8 - 10 pieces!
And finally . . . DRUMROLL, por favor.
2011 = A SOLO SHOW. GUYS! I'M DOING A MOTHERFUCKING SOLO SHOW!!! GAHHHHHHH! RAAAAAAHHHHHH! I'M SO SCARED!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU, Rothick Art Haus.
I have like freaking 30 paintings to do. I want to cry. But also explode with happiness?
This is either going to destroy me - or push me into developing and growing. I need to make sure I don't throw away ANY of these opportunities by turning in half-assed pieces. I'm going to HAVE to break my procrastination habits and pretend I'm actually a hard worker. Maybe I'll hypnotize myself into believing it so much that I'll actually become one. I feel like I need to ask for help - but I don't know who or what to ask. TIME TO FREAAAAAAK OOOOOUT.
P.S. If any of you have cool reference photos/links/resources with cool imagery matching any of the about themed shows, lemme know!
Tiki - rockabilly - pin up?
Dogs - coyotes - wolves?
Balinese dancers - art?
Unicorns?
Things you'd like to see in my solo show???
