...well, I would advise you making your own decision ultimately, but it sounds as if you're not the surest about Scottie, seeing as you're churning over this dilemma as I type. I would mention to Scott that you're not exactly ready to be exclusive necessarily, and see how he takes it. If he really loves you, he'll let you do what you need to do to sort out your feelings and, ideally, your relationship would be the better for it, should you resume at a more serious level in the future. This is what I think. My mom was actually telling me yesterday something about a butterfly, and if you let it go and it flies away and it doesn't come back, it wasn't yours to begin with. Aphorisms like that don't usually do much for me, but that one was particularly helpful, believe it or not. It just made sense; it clicked. So, he'd kind of have to take that mindset with you, you know?

You guys are still young. (hee hee, so am I...) I wouldn't put the world into this relationship, personally. But, that's just me. Hell, if you decide relatively soon that this is something you know that you want for sure, then go for it. No need to wait if you really don't believe you need to. Experience tells me that it may be wiser, but that's no guarantee. :o)
