yeah i wonder about some of our friends/acquintance who have since gone on to be priests or work in the church that i know are against this sort of excommunication bullshit

Me too. I think that if I'd found liberation theology before I left the christian church as a whole, I'd probably be a Catholic. There are some pretty rockin' folk in that church.

*nod* I think that was expected by a lot of people in the church, too.

It's weird to have it be more personal for me - I have never been Catholic, but now it's so important to people I care about that it hits me harder.
