Nearly a Year... danm, I'm good....
So, things have definitely changed since I last posted on here... Moved up to Courtenay and now a 'city' dweller... It has its perks, but I miss my country living. Not needing black-out curtains on the bedroom window, not hearing constant traffic noise. Though being able to walk to work is nice.
Speaking of work... Erika has since officially bought the practice. We are the proud owners of a holistic veterinary clinic. I am also now the Office Manager and order/inventory person. So far, I'm loving it. I've actually started to save the clinic some money while I'm at it. Given how things went over the course of the clinic sale, that's a plus...
Other than those two big things, not much is going on here. Kids are still the same.... I'm getting ready to start a garden... Erika and I have to go to Vancouver next weekend to take tests that show that we know how to speak/understand English... yeah, go figure. But it's a requirement for permanent residency. Once that's done, eventually citizenship to follow. Though that will probably be in a few more years yet... who knows.
