What exactly is going on with everyone else for New Years? Seems not much is happening this year, though it's highly possible that last year may have been so over the top it can't be duplicated. Anyway, I am leaving work an hour early that day because I said I can, so I will be on the road by seven sharp. Events at the Pub start at ten, I think; I have to double-check this. Does my car-full want to do dinner first maybe, if we can be in the city by eight?
By the way, now might be a good time to let you all know that Kimmy's birthday is the 30th, and she's never had a birthday party before. Ever. So she is getting in on the 80s Night birthday tradition. I know most of you don't know her but she'd be tickled if you all came out, especially Jamie and Nicole (since she knows you two).
I managed my 'A' by a few percentage points. My instructor also told me to seriously consider going into administration work because she can see me succeeding there due to my ability to appear sure even when I'm not. Ha. Tomorrow books become available for next semester, which pleases the dorky side of me. I'll probably be ahead on reading for my english classes before I even get my syllabus. Southern gothic literature, yum.
Much to my boss' displeasure, I have taken a weekend off in January (the 21st-22nd) for the express purpose of seeing Sidney Crosby play live. It's a two o'clock game, so I am also planning on heading back out to a bar after I bring Jake home and change clothes. It will probably only be the Drafthouse, but anyone who can should come out.
