this is a health & beauty site with lots of threads for all us beauty product whores. i found it tonight and loved this idea (just like asking your friends, if you had thousands of friends)...i'm just not sure that posting access should be open to EVERYONE.
take this, for example. this made me pee in my pants a little. this lady is posting to a thread about an aspirin mask for oily skin. the original "recipe" is a few non-coated aspirin dissolved in water just enough to make a paste, which you then spread on your face.
sounds crazy to me too, but the kids seem to like it. except for this lady...i give you the stupidest quote of the day:
"Ewww! Do not try this!!!! Well, I mean you can try it, if you want your skin to be worse. I dissolved 6 or 7 tablets of aspirin in some water, and then I added some aloe vera gel and Cetaphil cleanser. I put it on my face and left it on for like 10 minutes, I think. After I took it off, it did not look any better. The next morning I woke up with tons more pimples and a cyst that has lasted for 2-3 weeks so far. Also, it probably isn't healthy because the aspirin could get into your body or something. Why not just buy a safer mask that actually works?"
