Running . . .

On Tuesday, a ran a little while at the gym for the first time in a while, since I've been getting used to my inserts still, and it felt great . . . at the time. Two days later, my shins still hurt.

I am very bummed about this. I didn't think it would be that ambitious to try to run a 5k this summer, but now I'm thinking it will take a lot of training to build up strength and flexibility and endurance in my calves to be able to do that.
