So I saw this meme on damn_squiggly's journal and asked for a letter. She gave me the letter E

1. Edward Cullen
I think that it's obvious why Edward is number one. He's sweet and protective. He is eloquent and can love a person by knowing them, not by needing anything physical. He's a musician and composer. Plus it doesn't hurt that he's beautiful. And he can make you live with him for eternity if you choose.
2. Eric Northman
The picture of him isn't great, but I love his character in the Sookie Stackhouse novels. He is a sexy, funny, and charming viking turned vampire who runs his own business. He's in my top two of who I want Sookie to end up with, the other being Sam. Plus you can't not love his bar, Fangtasia.
3. Erik (The Phantom of the Opera)
Recently saw this play when it came to town. Erik is an awesome man. He's a musician who just wants someone to love him and he would adore her in return. He doesn't force Christine to stay with him even though she has seen what lays beneath his mask and while he is obsessed with her, stalkers (the good, more toned down version) can make really great relationships. He doesn't deserve the hand he's been dealt.
4. Ella of Frell (from the book)
Ella is such an awesome heroine. She is able to still live her life and doesn't spend her time being all woe is me because she was cursed to be obedient. She gives up her own happiness to save both her love and her country. Plus, even though she knows the curse will make her feel awful for trying, she keeps attempting to break the curse or find ways around it. Kudos to Ella
5. Evie Parks (Jennifer Rardin's Jaz Parks Novels)
No picture for this one. Evie is sort of an anchor to Jaz's screwed up family. She is the only on to have a normal healthy relationship. And her baby is so cute (so we're told). I love Evie because she's such a great Mom, both to her own baby and to Jaz and David. Sometimes even to their father Albert. She's really a wonderful character and adds some needed normalcy to Jaz's life.
That's my list. And because I didn't realize how long it would take to do this, the book rec will have to wait until tomorrow.
