Nerdy
So I watched The Perfect Score with my family tonight. It was a really good movie actually, very funny and entertaining. In it, one of the students needs a 1430 (based on the 1600 scale of the SATs) to get into his college of choice. Now when the movie ended, I was overcome by the urge to see what score you would need to get now on the SATs to get into his college. I set up a ratio and found that a person would need to get a 1952 on the new 2400 SAT scale. I know, I'm a nerd. My mom even commented that she loved what an odd child I was after I explained what I was doing I do love ratios though. They are such simple ways of finding out information. Just cross multiply and divide and voila. Just wanted to post about my nerdiness.
