Whole Bunch of Stuff

I have quite a few things I want to say, so look for the comments under their respective cuts.

So I spent most of the afternoon watching the two High School Musical movies. DO NOT LEAVE YET! Just wanted to make sure you would hear me out before immediately thinking things based on your own conclusions. I don't love or hate these movies. The first one is definitely better than the second one. This is a comparison I made earlier that I think sort of explains my stand on the movies: the movies compared to other musicals are like the little teen romance books I read when compared to Twilight. The teen romances are pretty enjoyable, but there's definitely not as much substance. Now about the second movie, that one was much worse in my opinion. At time Zac Efron looked like he was doing moves from Hairspray  and/or Footloose and there was a whole song that had the feel of a cheesy 80s or 90s music video. Also, does the whole brother and sister as leading couple freak anyone else out?

Also, we now have a pool in our backyard. Don't ask me how this happened, I'm pretty sure I wasn't part of the decision making process. Now I have nothing really against pools, I just don't like being in them. I really don't care for water in any form. I was the child who sat off to the side, under a shaded area, reading a book while the other children ran through the sprinkler or went swimming or had water balloon fights. I wouldn't have been outside at all except Grandma (our daycare) threw us all outside during the summer, not that it mattered, air conditioning wise, because she had none. So it is really annoying right now that everyone is pestering me to get in the pool. I have never really liked water come to think of it. When Mom would use a water bottled to do my hair I always rubbed my arms really quickly to dry the falling spray. I also repeatedly dry my hands while doing the dishes. Weird. Anyway, the sum of the above, I like to be dry, sort of like a cat. No water except the necessary amount needed to be clean

I got tickets to the Breaking Dawn event in Seattle this morning!!!!! My friend and I are going to the event together which should be a lot of fun. I did end up spending eighty-two bucks on the tickets, but I'm happy I get to go at all! I had to get them on Ebay, and some of the lots are much more expensive than that. I was bid out on the first lot I bid on (WITH FOUR SECONDS TO GO!), but I'm happy because now I have tickets. Yipee!

In addition, I have finished my first week at my summer job. I got to go home earlier than planned every day. I did end up stabbing myself a few more times and was put on thank you note duty when I finished the available tagging, which to whoever has seen my hand writing probably makes no sense. But I got to use a cool shirt folder thing to fold IKEA shirts, which rocked. So overall, not a bad week.
Stay smart people
