Well, by a mixture of popular demand and intense egomania, next Saturday, December 12th will be the encore of the critically-acclaimed Hyuuga Rant.
I'm renting a camera from the library and will be filming said Rant, and I would like an audience to provide a laugh track/comments/snide remarks.
WHERE: I would like to do it in Skinner 216 or 202, whichever is unoccupied. I realize that this will be the first day of Reading Days, so if people are studying in both rooms I'll try to find someplace else. Until further notice, Skinner 202.
WHEN: Saturday, December 12th, 3:30. Please let me know if you have a problem with this time; it's tentative.
WHO: Cecilia, the blond-ish librarian. You can reach me by commenting or emailing me at
cecilia2007@yahoo.com with any questions.
WHAT: The Hyuuga Rant is a powerpoint dedicated to the various underappreciated aspects of Hinata's crazy family; who they are, what they're like, and why Hinata and Neji have no visible mothers. Also answers the Great Question: Why does Naruto, a ninja, wear bright orange?
It's very casual; just swing by and listen to me talk about absurd Naruto subplots and laugh at how nerdy I am. I'm hoping that it will be a nice de-stressor after the last week of classes. Bring a sense of humor, a sense of the absurd, and a willingness to bend Naruto canon a little bit. Prior Naruto experience is not necessary, but may be helpful. Angsty backstories are provided by the management.
The Hyuuga Rant is rated T for Teen and contains some swearing and some light slash. If you have a very strong allergy to slash and cannot be in its vicinity without a bad reaction, the Rant may not be right for you. The Rant is long (about 2 hours); if you do not want to stay through the whole thing, I will not be offended in the slightest if you leave or come late. Ask your doctor if you begin to search for Hanabi fanart, develop a heightned sensitivty to OOC!Hiashi, or start to memorize character statistics. These symptoms may be a sign of a rare but serious condition called Hyuugaphila.
