A short oneshot fic told from the point of view of an OC observer, it gives a great look at the Zexion/Demyx pairing, and why we love them so much even though the ship is slightly less than cannon. It's very cute, even if you don't know the characters. WAFF abounds.
...most of Dual's stuff is “Zemyx” so y'all should check out her A Dissertation on Zemyx Which offers a very good explanation of the character, the pairing, and quite a few good fics featuring them which I won't go into.

This is a crossover with Kingdom Hearts (aka Disney's) Alice in wonderland and American McGee's Alice. If you haven't played the McGee version of Alice, let me tell you now that it is not for the faint of heart. This fic gives a gruesome character profile of an Alice as she fights a heartless.
4) Syonara, Watashi no Ai by Espo

Warnings: Sugary-sweetness, COLSURE.
Axel comes back from the dead to say goodbye to Roxas. It's so cute it makes your teeth rot, but at least you don't have that gaping hole in your chest where Roxas' cute spiky blondness used to live.

It's really heartwarming and definitely worth the read.

This fic is less like a multichapter story and more like a series of interconnected PWPs. I mean, I was expecting some sex, sure, but this fic... yeah. Basically you could eliminate the drugs and the rock n roll and you would still have an acceptable title for this fic.
Demyx is a musician trying to make his way in the rough town of Midgar, lots of sex. Plot ends there. However it should be mentioned that the sex is very inventive (and I don't mean it like that you perverts) as it shows the complexity of each character. I might go so far as to call these short pieces of porn something like character studies. Especially notable are the chapters featuring Axel and Roxas (far more emotionally involved than the other but also more fucked up), and the one where Demyx plays with Xigbar's eye... the missing one. The “Bonus Track” chapters, where any sane author would store the porn, are actually quite insightful bits of character and plot development.

The link above shows what Ciceqi has posted so far as well as her continued plans for the fic. Usually I'm ranting about her amazing FFVII fics, especially when it comes her to OT3, Zack/Sephiroth/Cloud. But there's just something about Sephiroth and Riku that makes me giggle like the insane fangirl I am.
A note on Riku/Sora: I looked. I really did. I read lots of fics that I now wish I hadn't read at all. The truth is folks, very few good ficcers out there are writing Riku/Sora. Why? Because it's so canon it hurts and all the fics out there are sweet, sickening little bits of unoriginal fluff. A few of the authors I RECed for other ships/fandoms might have a good Sora/Riku hidden away somewhere in their archives, give them a look and let me know if you find anything.
In the mean time, there are a couple fics that I wouldn't normally Rec because of their less-than stellar writing or confusing plot that I'm going to put up anyway because they're solid. Thats the best I can say about them, but at least they fulfill some of the Riku/Sora hunger... kind of like burnt popcorn.
1) Stygian Solace by Uzumaki-Sama
a long ass fic with plenty of plot, Riku as the main character, and lots of Riku/Sora adorable-ness... if you can ignore the the confusing plot and what appears to be an OC (*shudders*). Kind of a retelling of Kingdom Hearts I with a “what if” spin.
2) To Keep You Warm by Fluky
The witty dialog and cute self-awareness almost make up for the fact that this is a blanket fic.
3) Sex on The Beach by Fluky
By far the best of the Riku/Sora fics I could find. It's cute, and funny, and adorable. I might call it forgettable in the long run but that could be my epic-loving angst-hound side talking. It rocked my socks but it didn't necessarily roll my soul. Plot = basically Kairi finds Sora and Riku having sex on the beach.... humor ensues.
Aaaand thats it for KH recs for now... if anyone is interested I could drag up a few more... with less Demyx and more characters that people *besides* me know and love. Also, I might be posting some FFVII recs sometimes too, is anyone at all interested?
