okay- so I know none of you have free time but-- I need someone to, after November (or whenever I finish this thing), proofread a (decently short) novel for
a)massive fact errors in my US (or any, really) government knowledge (putting aside the Secretary of Technology, thing. I *know* that cabinet position doesn't exist. I'm working on that detail)
b) massive fact errors in my computer hacker-y knowledge. About which I know nothing.
I don't really need nitpicking (it's trashy fiction that I think (oh gods please) I want to try and get published) I do need "dear, this is completely untrue and I can't believe you thought things worked that way..."
I actually may go so far as to post on craigslist and pay someone (um, but maybe just in food) to do this, but I figured I'd ask all the smart people here first. (the offer of food/cookies especially is totally still on the table)
