Happy Veteran's Day
It still shocks me how addicted I've become to LJ. LOL.
Happy Veteran's Day everyone! I do admire our Veterans and I just want this war in Iraq to end..but it's already too late. So many have died :(
I don't have much to report on. I finished my in state college apps last night..I'm halfway done..I have a long way to go but it's not as hard..maybe 2 more essays to write. At the most. Then I have to apply to FL colleges..then Berekley and Columbia. I still have mixed feelings on moving to FL..I just never thought I'd be going back to my birthplace..it's 'cuz we have family there I suppose..
I have heard Tu Amor 10 times on the radio since Wed..it's so flippin awesome..twice on the top 40 station..and my fave local station is playing it constantly..I'm so happy.
I watched ATL last night..such a good movie. I want to go see what Atlanta is now..but the end made me sad, even though I can't say much if people don't want to be spoiled..the younger brother character was shot but survived. I guess it's just in real life the teenager involved in gangs or drugs always ends up dying or getting a very hard reality check. Atleast that's what it's like where I come from. But I am determined to make it the best for the people I know.
I'm gonna be hanging out at the mall with a few friends today and searching for Xmas gifts..*coughAshleecough*..lol. And then I'll be watching 16 Candles,She's The Man and The Ringer..all faves minus the first. 16 Candles is okay but how can it be PG if there is nudity and curse words all around? Breakfeast Club is R for drugs and some sexuality if even that...odd ratings. But still..awesome 80's movies. Hehe.
