So When You Have The Flu
That's right, I think that I have the flu. It is a horrid thing to say the least. I woke up feeling as though I was going to vomit everywhere and my body ached like you wouldn't imagine. I woke up early and stayed up because there was no use lying in bed feeling tortured. So I struggled to get some work done because I feel that even though I'm sick I need to get some things done. I have two papers to do before finals week so I might as well finish those up as soon as possible.
To make matters worse the girls and decided that we want to move apartments next year. So we are searching for a new place. We have to get put on a waiting list for this nice four bedroom place. Goodness knows if we are actually going to get it. I have to take my application in today and pray that it gets accepted and we have a place to live. Otherwise we are going to have to try to renew our lease for the other apartment that we are currently living in later this week AFTER the deadline. Talk about stressful. I am so afraid that I will NOT have a place to live and will have to resort to living on the streets of State College. However, everyone keeps telling me that that won't happen and that I am stressing over nothing. It doesn't seem like nothing to me though. I mean having a place to live is a HUGE thing when you are in college. You need to make sure that you aren't too far away from campus and that you don't live in a shit hole. So we can only hope that things work out there.
I haven't done any Christmas shopping either. I have people to buy for. I think that I might get my parents a couple's massage for Christmas. Since dad has cheated on my mother things between him and my mother have been tense. My mom has really been wanting to do more things with my father in hopes of helping their relationship. I figure that would be a good thing for them to do together. They can get relaxed and everything else. As for the roomies...I have NO idea what to get them. I might take Tracy up on her offer about going to the mall and helping me pick something out for the girlies. I don't have that much money to spend but I'm sure that I could find them something good even if I am on a budget. It's hard shopping for girls though because you don't want to get them something too stupid.
Anyway, I am going to just get going. I have some things to do before this day is over. The only bonus is that House is on tonight.
