Home For Thanksgiving
I love the fact that I can be home for Thanksgiving earlier than most people. It's nice to know that sometimes if you schedule you can get yourself a break. The sad thing is that I have a lot of work to do over break. The two major things that I need to get done because they are due on November 29th, one is a paper and the other is studying for a major test. Other than that I am going to try to work ahead. I just don't want to be bogged down at the end of the semester and crying my eyes out due to stress.
Last night Paul and I went to see "Walk the Line" and let me just say I was amazed. The movie moved me in a way that I did not expect. I had never really been a Johnny Cash fan, but after this movie I realized the legend that he really is. It took his death and this movie to make me see that he is truly someone that will influence music for the rest our lives. Reese and Joaquin did an AWESOME job and I hear the word Oscar in the air. Wouldn't surprise me in the least. So if you get the chance watch the movie. I don't think that you would be disappointed.
What I didn't realize is that Harry Potter came out this weekend. There were fans everywhere. They were swarming the theatre and the movie was sold out for every show by 6pm. The people that thought they could get tickets for the later shows after that time were pissed. Paul's younger Christian and his girlfriend Megan went to see it today. Christian isn't a huge fan but Megan said it was really good.
In other news, Penn State is the BIG TEN CHAMPS!! They won against Michigan State. We are probably going to the Orange Bowl to play Miami. I really hate Miami. So if we do end up playing them in the bowl game I hope we kick their asses.
Tomorrow will be a lazy day. I will watch the Steelers play Baltimore, do work, and watch Desperate Housewives. Woohoo!
