Friday...Friday...Where Could You Be?

What is my obsession with Friday this week? All I have been talking about is how I wish it was Friday. Maybe it's because I have been feeling very overwhelmed. The homework load this semester has been pretty ridiculous I must say. I swear that professors find it fun to see how much work they can pile up on their students during certain times in the semseter. They don't really want to spread any of the work out throughout the semester, they just want to load it on you NOW, NOW, NOW!!! The moment they start doing it is the moment that I start having a nervous breakdown and have crying fits in the shower in the evening.

This Friday will be nice though because we have our "Study Day", which means that we have off. I probably won't be studying even though I do have a fair amount of work. I think instead I will be catching up on the sleep that I desperately need. So, this means that I'll be heading over to Paul's house tonight to spend the night with him. I'm even planning on taking the time to make him dinner tonight to celebrate the fact that I have the study day tomorrow. The only thing about tomorrow is that I do have to work, but I don't mind. I only have to work 3-6pm and then I have the rest of the day for myself. Maybe Paul will want to go to the movies...

Paul and I got our Steeler's tickets in the mail yesterday. You have no idea how happy I was to have those tickets in my hands. I started jumping around the dining room and giggling like a crazy woman. Paul was just laughing at me. He knows how much I have wanted to see the Steelers. I mean my whole life has revolved around the fact that I love the Steelers and that I would do ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING to see them. So the fact that I get to be in Pittsburgh, PA on November 5, 2006 to see the Steelers vs. the Broncos means EVERYTHINg to me.

I also found out something interesting when I was reading the Penn State newspaper this morning before my 8am English class. I found out that there is a student here that is probably going to make it BIG in the music industry. I have seen him on the street singing but I never really listened to his music. So now that he has an album on Itunes I think I am going to check it out when I get back to the apartment. I mean he is a fellow Penn State student and the right thing to do is keep that Penn State Pride going and go check it out. I'll write more if the album is any good. From what I read in the paper he likes Jack Johnson and John Mayer. Now I'm not a Jack fan but I LOVE John Mayer, so I'm hoping that it's more like John than Jack.

So, I should head out. I have to get ready for my next class of the day. BLAH!
